Luigi is the captain of the Italian Paralympic water polo team. Due to a car accident, he lost the use of his legs and has been using a wheelchair for over twenty years. The film depicts his daily life and preparation for the II National Paralympic Water Polo Championship. Team training sessions and matches are interspersed with interviews and personal moments of the protagonist. With his strength and zest for life, Luigi always finds the energy to keep going and not let daily challenges get him down, normalizing disability in the eyes of others and living without pity.
