Aslan , an out-of-shape veteran of the Soviet-Afghan War, is now an alcoholic major in the Kazakh police force and has been playing both ends against the middle for years: fighting street crime, hard, while also acting as a bagman for his corrupt colonel (the show-stealing Gani Kulzhanov) and a rogues' gallery of evil politicians. But Aslan's little world falls apart when he relays an order to lower-level thugs to find some 'fresh girls' for the boss - and one of the three they kidnap off the street turns out to be Aslan's own young-adult daughter Assel (Dilnaz Kurmanalieva), hitherto a virgin. Suffice it to say, all hell then breaks loose.
