When a real estate agent makes a quick visit up in the north of Sweden, he stumbles upon an old, mute woman, locked away in a remote cabin. Despite seeming to be well cared for, she is completely alone. The question of her identity and why she is almost completely forgotten plants a seed of infuriation in his mind.
